Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals might be one of the hottest pitchers in major league baseball right now, but that doesn't mean he is above playing catch with a fan of the rival team.
This adorable moment spontaneously broke out during practice at an away game against the New York Mets at Citi Field, when Scherzer initiated a ball toss with an enthusiastic young Mets fan:
