Most Democrats don't want Sanders to drop out, poll finds

Counting super delegates, Hillary Clinton is fewer than 100 delegates away from clinching the Democratic nomination — but her party isn't ready to see Bernie Sanders exit the race quite yet.

Some 70 percent of Democrats say that the "continuing campaign for the Democratic nomination" is not hurting their party, according to Gallup poll results released Friday.

Perhaps surprisingly, slightly more self-identified Clinton supporters (74 percent) than Sanders supporters (69 percent) are happy to have the contest continue. An average of 25 percent of Democrats disagreed.
