Donald Trump declares he will abolish gun-free zones in wild off-the-script speech

Donald Trump declared that he would abolish gun-free zones as president while addressing the National Rifle Association's leadership forum in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday. Presumably that includes all current gun-free zones like elementary schools, hospitals, and Trump hotels.

Newly endorsed by the NRA, Trump admitted he had veered off script with the announcement, which was received by enthusiastic cheers from the audience. That wasn't the only eyebrow-raising moment in Trump's speech, however. Read some of the highlights, below. Jeva Lange
