As flood waters rise, the Louvre is working to protect its art
After several days of heavy rain in France, the Louvre is taking precautions to keep art safe from possible flooding.
Officials say the waters of the Seine are expected to rise, reaching their peak on Friday, CNN reports. The Louvre tweeted that it will be closed to the public on Friday in order to move valuable pieces to higher ground, as torrential rain is forecast through the weekend.
