Clinton campaign confirms Sanders will offer his endorsement Tuesday

Bernie Sanders will endorse Hillary Clinton at her Portsmouth, New Hampshire, rally on Tuesday, Clinton's campaign confirmed to The Associated Press. Although Sanders has long held out against conceding to, or backing, his Democratic rival, he gained ground in pushing his major causes on the Democratic platform over the weekend, including climate change and $15 minimum wage.

In the February primary, Sanders beat Clinton in New Hampshire by 22 points.
