The American electorate is deeply divided, but "for the most part, I don't think it matters what a candidate says, it matters to people which candidate said it," Jimmy Kimmel said on Wednesday's Kimmel Live. To put that theory to the test, he said, Kimmel Live read quotes from Donald Trump to "die-hard members of Team Hillary," told them Clinton had said it, and asked if they agreed. Some of the quotes are things that Hillary Clinton might actually have said, but others are pure Trump, and some Clinton supporters agree with them anyway (and it's cringe-inducing). The last two respondents get to walk away with their dignity intact, a rarity in these Kimmel interviews. Watch below. Peter Weber
