The U.S. men's basketball team won gold Sunday in Rio, defeating Serbia 96-66. It was the third consecutive gold medal for Team USA.
Kevin Durant led the team in scoring during the Games, finishing with 30 points on Sunday. Carmelo Anthony, playing in his fourth Olympics, became the first American player to win a third gold, and took over the all-time Team USA lead in scoring. On Saturday, the U.S. women's basketball team beat Spain 101-72, winning its sixth straight Olympic gold.
