"I would not vote for Hillary Clinton, and as of now, I would not vote for Donald Trump," said Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) on CNN's State of the Union Sunday. For those similarly stymied, he added, "You can always write someone in."
Flake has insisted he is not in the #NeverTrump camp — "I would like to vote for Donald Trump," he told CNN, because "it's not comfortable to not support your nominee" — but cannot get past the candidate's positions on a number of issues, including immigration. If there has been any "softening" in Trump's immigration approach of late, Flake continued, "it was buried pretty deep" in the nominee's recent speech on the subject.
