Trump's campaign manager tweets it was '#sexist' for Kaine to interrupt debate moderator
Many people predicted that Tim Kaine and Mike Pence, who both appear to be mild-mannered people, would have a vanilla debate. While they didn't shout, scream, or sniffle, they did spend a lot of the night annoyingly interrupting each other, as well as moderator Elaine Quijano of CBS News.
At one point, Quijano admonished them, saying, "The people at home cannot understand either one of you when you speak over each other." While both were guilty of cross-talking and interjecting, only one was called out by Donald Trump's campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, who tweeted: "How many times has @TimKaine ignored and interrupted the female moderator tonight? #sexist." She did not reveal if it's also #sexist to call a woman a "dog," a "fat pig," or a "slob."
During his own debate last week, Trump interrupted Hillary Clinton 51 times, compared to her 17.
