If you watched Tuesday's vice presidential debate between Republican Mike Pence and Democrat Tim Kaine, you know there was a lot of unintelligible cross-talk and silly argument about which campaign was more "insult-driven." But there were also some interesting, calm, and substantive debates about abortion rights, immigration, and other weighty subjects, as well as a few uneven quips and zingers. The New York Times helpfully condensed the debate down to 4:38 minutes:
