Brad Pitt reportedly cleared of child abuse allegations

Within the past few days, an investigation into whether Brad Pitt was abusive toward his teenage son was closed with no findings of abuse, a person familiar with the case told The Associated Press Wednesday.

The investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services focused on an incident on a private airplane in September; days later, Angelina Jolie-Pitt filed for divorce from her husband of two years. The department would not confirm with AP if Pitt was being investigated.
