The Trump administration's lies were a central point of former FBI Director James Comey's testimony Thursday, with Comey telling the Senate that he believed the White House had tried to "defame me and more importantly, the FBI." Comey also said he documented each meeting with President Trump because he "was honestly concerned that [Trump] might lie about the nature of our meeting."
The White House's response?
"I can definitively say the president is not a liar," said Deputy White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. "It's frankly insulting," she added, "that the question would be asked."
