Busy Philipps is getting her own late-night talk show

Actress Busy Philipps is heading to late night, a move that will make her one of just a handful of women hosting evening talk shows, alongside TBS's Samantha Bee and Hulu's Sarah Silverman, The Cut reports. Work on Philipps' show, which is tentatively titled Busy Tonight, is expected to begin this summer in Los Angeles, with the program to air on the E! network.

Philipps is known for her candid personality on Instagram as well as roles in shows like Freaks and Geeks, Dawson's Creek, and Cougar Town. She also appeared in the recent romantic comedy film I Feel Pretty with Amy Schumer. The news of her E! show garnered excitement from her fans:
