Rudy Giuliani declares on Fox News James Comey is 'perverted' and a 'disgraceful liar'
Rudy Giuliani said Wednesday night he would like to see "disgraceful liar" James Comey, the former FBI director, prosecuted for leaking classified information.
Comey, whom President Trump fired last May, has said he gave unclassified personal memos detaling his conversations with Trump to friends. Giuliani, now a member of Trump's legal team, told Fox News host Sean Hannity he himself never "leaked a damn thing" and "would have considered resigning if I ever did that." Comey is a "very perverted man," Giuliani declared, and "every FBI agent in America has his head down because of you."
He didn't stop there — Giuliani also blasted Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and possible obstruction of justice, saying the probe needs to be ended "in the interest of justice." There has been "too much government misconduct," he said, without giving any examples. "The crimes now have all been committed by the government and their agents."
