Rafael Nadal wins his 11th French Open

Rafael Nadal won his 11th French Open championship on Sunday, defeating Dominic Thiem 6-4, 6-3, 6-2.
The 32-year-old has 17 majors under his belt, and is 86-2 at the French Open. Thiem, 24, was the No. 7 seed, and after the match — his first major final — said there is a reason Nadal "won 11 times here. It's definitely one of the best things somebody ever achieved in sport." With his win, Nadal holds onto the No. 1 ranking, ahead of Roger Federer.
