President Trump tweeted from Singapore on Tuesday morning local time that Director of the National Economic Council Larry Kudlow, back in the United States, had a heart attack.
"Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack," he tweeted. "He is now in Walter Reed Medical Center." Kudlow, 70, joined the Trump administration earlier this year, replacing Gary Cohn, and often appears on the Sunday shows in support of the president's policies.
