An attorney for Mark Judge, Barbara Van Gelder, said her client has been interviewed by the FBI as part of the investigation into allegations of sexual assault made against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Christine Blasey Ford said that she was assaulted by Kavanaugh when they were teenagers, and that Judge, one of Kavanaugh's friends and classmates, was in the room when it happened. On Monday, Van Gelder, released a statement saying Judge "has been interviewed by the FBI but his interview has not been completed. We request your patience as the FBI completes its investigation." Kavanaugh has denied the allegation.
