Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Friday after allegedly punching a man over a Manhattan parking spot, police told NBC News.
The 60-year-old actor is in custody after the fight in New York's East Village, a police spokesman said. The victim, a 49-year-old man, was taken to the hospital but is conscious, per the Washington Examiner. Baldwin apparently punched the man after he stole a parking spot from Baldwin, witnesses tell NBC 4 New York.
Baldwin, who starred in 30 Rock and many movies, has recently impersonated President Trump on Saturday Night Live. He hosts the The Alec Baldwin Show on Sundays. Several reports have previously highlighted Baldwin's temper, and he was arrested in 2014 for disorderly conduct after riding the wrong direction on his bicycle. Baldwin's representatives haven't responded to any requests for comment.
If it's any consolation, Baldwin seems to have the president on his side. Kathryn Krawczyk
