Watch CNN's Wolf Blitzer politely ask Stephen Miller to take a chill pill
CNN's Wolf Blitzer got to live out the dream of anyone who has ever wanted to tell White House senior adviser Stephen Miller to be quiet.
On Thursday evening, Miller appeared on Blitzer's show to talk about all things Trump, including his promised border wall. Miller got hyped fast, and ignored Blitzer's multiple attempts to interrupt to ask a questions. "He wants to build the wall by getting the money now, just like the president was very clear about for the last year leading up to this funding fight," Miller said. "Let's cut through this. Right now as we speak, there is a surge of illegal immigration heading towards our country that presents a national crisis now."
His voice steadily rising, Miller continued. "Not a month from now, not a year from now, right now. And this president took an oath, like every lawmaker in Congress to defend the citizens of this country. How many more innocent people have to die in the pursuit of an open borders agenda?" Finally able to get a word in, Blitzer offered some advice. "Calm down a minute," he said. "We don't have to yell." Watch the video below. Catherine Garcia
