It's unclear whether Aquaman's director James Wan will return, but Deadline reported earlier this month that his frequent collaborator David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick — who penned the first script with Will Beall — will write the sequel.
In the meantime, fans can expect to see a plethora of DC movies hit theaters, including Shazam!, Joker, Birds of Prey, and the Wonder Woman 1984 sequel.
