Tucker Carlson thinks 'childish socialists' Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez are right about one thing
Tucker Carlson, it turns out, is willing to cross the aisle on occasion.
On Friday evening, the Fox News host said that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) are "absolutely, indisputably right" about their new legislation, the Loan Shark Prevention Act, which they unveiled on Thursday. The act would cap credit card interest rates at 15 percent. The current median interest rate on credit cards is 21.36 percent.
"Credit card debt destroys people," Carlson said. "High interest rates exploit the weak." He pointed out that, while people pay exorbitant rates on their credit cards, banks can borrow money from the Federal reserve at three percent interest. Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez clearly agree that the practice is unfair.

Carlson did make sure to hurl a few insults at the two members of Congress, calling them "demagogues" and wondering aloud why it took two "childish socialists" to point out the flaws in the system. Watch the clip at Mediaite.
