3 baffling inaccuracies in Trump's latest tweet storm
President Trump spent his Thursday morning in typical form: tweeting out a stream of wide-ranging inaccuracies.
In a thread that started with commentary on Thursday's White House social media summit, Trump relayed three solid inaccuracies and a slew of other confusing statements. That started with the claim that he "came down the escalator" in Trump Tower to announce his presidential campaign "in November 2016" — a date that wouldn't have been too helpful considering that was the month of the election. The event Trump is referring to happened in June 2015.
Next up came Trump's assertion that he'll "leave office in six years," which could be true, followed by an apparent joke that it could be "10 or 14," which would take some constitutional violations to make happen. Trump then uses his old "Pocahontas" nickname for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), referencing her DNA test reveal that showed she likely had a Native American ancestor. Except Trump suggests Warren is "1000/24th" Cherokee — which would amount to over 4,160 percent Cherokee.

Separate from the thread, Trump said he "didn't use many banks because" he "didn't need their money." He took $2 billion in loans from Deutsche bank alone, The New York Times reported. Also debatable is whether Trump is a "true stable genius." Kathryn Krawczyk
