House Rules Committee advances impeachment resolution
The House Rules Committee on Wednesday night advanced a resolution establishing procedures for the impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
The vote was 9-4, along party lines. The resolution was introduced on Tuesday, and a full House vote is expected to take place on Thursday. The resolution details the House Judiciary Committee's role in considering potential articles of impeachment, CNN reports, and establishes procedures for public hearings and the release of deposition transcripts.
