Frustrated by the slow pace of the results from Monday night's Iowa caucus? You might have an app to blame.
There have been reports that Iowa precinct chairs were struggling to use an app designed, naturally, to make tallying and reporting caucus results easier. It's not clear if the app's failure is the only the Iowa Democratic Party was still holding back results three hours after the caucusing began — the party said the delay was "due to quality checks" — but it's definitely playing a role.
In this case, technology does not appear to be making people's lives easier.
