Roman house decorated with penis-shaped amulets
A building heavily decorated with penis-shaped amulets has been uncovered by archaeologists in Israel. Researchers say the house, which dates back more than 1,900 years, may have belonged to a Roman official, but the decorations were probably added 100 years after the house was built.

YouTube pulls 'explicit' stream of giraffe giving birth
YouTube has been criticised for turning off a live stream of a giraffe giving birth at the Animal Adventure Park in New York. The zoo's owner believes a small number of animal rights activists flagged the video as containing "nudity and sexual content". YouTube reinstated the live feed after talking to the zoo.
Teen wakes up en route to his own funeral
A 17-year-old boy in India woke up while being transported to his own funeral. Kumar Marewad had developed a high fever after being bitten by a dog in his home village of Managundi and when his condition worsened, his family removed his life support and he appeared to die. However, to the surprise of his family, he opened his eyes while on the way to his funeral. Marewad is now back in hospital and on a ventilator.
