Lincolnshire air show spectators ducked for cover as a Turkish F16 fighter jet came in for an unexpectedly low landing on the runway at RAF Waddington.
Footage posted on YouTube shows the jet passing just ten feet over onlookers' heads.
The RAF told the Daily Telegraph that the aircraft had conducted "a completely normal approach, within all normal parameters".
