The first Chilean Miner movie: An instant guide

The first of an inevitable string of films inspired by Chile's 33 "miracle" miners is already finished. How is that possible?

It took 69 days to locate and rescue Chile's 33 "miracle" miners from half a mile below the earth, but "only 26 days for the first film version of the event to be sold." Reportedly finished, The 33 of San Jose is being shopped around at California's American Film Market event, and it seems that Argentina-based global distributor American Video Films has already sold the TV, film, and DVD rights in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, with more deals in the works. How did director Antonio Recio get a movie out so quickly? Should he have? Here's a look:
