World Cup 2010: Ten teams to watch

A brief guide to the top contenders at the world's most popular sporting event

Soccer fans around the world are gearing up for the quadrennial celebration of the "beautiful game," as the World Cup begins in South Africa on Friday. Some 700 million spectators are expected to tune in for at least one of the 63 games leading up to the July 11 Final. For those less familiar with the tournament, here's a brief guide to the 10 teams to follow in the 2010 FIFA World Cup:
