Building on the success of its immensely popular, fictionalized Tiger Woods series, Taiwanese TV show Apple Daily has once again harnessed CGI animation to transform real-world allegations — that prime minister Gordon Brown flings chairs and roughs up his aides — into speculative melodrama. Apple Daily's "reenactment" (below) shows how a Gordon Brown freakout might — in the most hypothetical of ways — play out. The video is not "an accurate representation of the claims" made against Brown, cautions Simon Jeffery in the U.K. Guardian. But isn't that obvious, asks Tamlin Magee in — adding that "the good stuff starts happening about 40 seconds" in. It's unlikely that Brown or his staff will see it that way.
