Building on the success of its immensely popular, fictionalized Tiger Woods series, Taiwanese TV show Apple Daily has once again harnessed CGI animation to transform real-world allegations — that prime minister Gordon Brown flings chairs and roughs up his aides — into speculative melodrama. Apple Daily's "reenactment" (below) shows how a Gordon Brown freakout might — in the most hypothetical of ways — play out. The video is not "an accurate representation of the claims" made against Brown, cautions Simon Jeffery in the U.K. Guardian. But isn't that obvious, asks Tamlin Magee in TechEye.net — adding that "the good stuff starts happening about 40 seconds" in. It's unlikely that Brown or his staff will see it that way.
