Universal is already planning Fast & Furious 8, Fast & Furious 9, Fast & Furious 10
The seventh Fast & Furious movie is less than six months away — and Universal has no intentions of slowing the franchise down anytime soon. In a roundtable interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley responded to a question about the franchise's future by revealing that there are tentative plans for at least three more Fast & Furious movies.
"I think it's still a growing franchise," said Langley. "We'll see what happens with Furious 7, obviously, but our box office has grown over the past three or four films and internationally, in particular. So we think that there's more to mine there."
Langley added that Universal is "very mindful about fatigue" — but not so mindful that they're not already planning for Fast & Furious 10.
