Starships were meant to fly, and 1,000 life-size cardboard cutouts of a bare-bummed Nicki Minaj were clearly meant to cover the entrance to this cathedral in Helsinki:
Surprisingly, the display isn't some bizarre street-art spectacle or even a bold political statement. Rather, the cutouts, taken from the cover of Minaj's single, "Anaconda," are a promotional stunt for Nicki's first-ever performance in Finland, at the Summer Up Festival in July.
The best part? The standees are free for the taking. Fans are encouraged to bring home their very own Nicki, and to sweeten the deal, many of the cutouts have festival tickets posted on Nicki's rear. Sex really does sell!
