Jeb Bush is making it official: After "actively exploring" a bid for 6 months, the former Florida governor will announce that he's running for president today in Miami. The New York Times reports that he will try to position himself in the crowded GOP field as an "executive animated by big ideas and uniquely capable of carrying them out." Bush, the son of former President George H. W. Bush and brother to former President George W. Bush, will also reportedly downplay his surname, echoing the implicit message of his new campaign logo, "Jeb!" To date, Bush's unofficial campaign has managed to raise a lot of money for the establishment favorite, but not his standing in the polls.
