North Korean scientists say they've found a way to nix hangovers, without nixing the fun. Researchers at the Taedonggang Foodstuff Factory claim that by replacing the sugar in alcohol with "scorched rice" they have developed the first alcohol in the world that can be drunk without any fear of a hangover,

"Koryo Liquor, which is made of six-year-old Kaesong Koryo insam [ginseng], known as being highest in medicinal effect, and the scorched rice, is highly appreciated by experts and lovers as it is suave and causes no hangover," an article in DPRK's Pyongyang Times says, noting that the liquor has been such a success it's been registered as a "national scientific and technological hit."
