During Tuesday's memorial service, Dallas Police Chief David Brown invoked the words of Stevie Wonder to remember the five Dallas police officers who were gunned down by a sniper last week. Brown — who had trouble talking to girls when he was a teenager, so instead would recite the lyrics to love songs — leaned on the lyrics of Stevie Wonder's "As" at Tuesday's service.

"Until the rainbow burns the stars out of the sky," Brown said. "I'll be loving you. Until the ocean covers every mountain high, I'll be loving you."
