Mike Pence is the only Trump VP finalist not slated to speak at the convention
Only two of Donald Trump's three reported VP finalists have landed speaking spots at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland next week. While New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R) are on the speaker list, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence's (R) name is nowhere to be found, Politico reports.
Gingrich insisted Wednesday night that Trump is "clearly" down to choosing either him or Pence. However, Gingrich is scheduled to speak on night three of the convention — just a few slots ahead of the spot reserved for the nominee for vice president.
