Say goodbye to Twitter trolls — or at least, get one step closer to doing so. On Thursday, Twitter announced that its "quality filter," which was once only available to verified users, will now be offered to anyone on Twitter. If a user opts to activate the filter, tweets that are "abusive, threatening, or spammy" will be hidden, The Washington Post reported.

Another new feature also announced Thursday will give users the option of only receiving notifications from people they follow or have recently interacted with. As the settings stand now, users typically are notified about any mention, whether it's from someone they follow or just a troll.
