For this year's presidential debates, Facebook will be more than just a place to read your friends' sassy political status updates. ABC News has announced that it is teaming up with the social media site to stream the entirety of all three presidential face-offs (plus the single vice presidential showdown) via Facebook Live.

This will mark the first time viewers will be able to stream the debates directly through Facebook, and the option will be entirely cost-free — and, reportedly, ad-free too. Through Facebook, ABC also plans to keep an eye on viewers' comments and questions and include them in its coverage of the debates.

Aside from Facebook, the debates will also stream on ABC News' website and app, Apple TV, XBox, and Roku, as well as across the usual television networks. The first presidential debate is Monday, Sept. 26, and will be moderated by NBC's Lester Holt.
