Even Trump's internal polls didn't see this coming

For nearly the entire general election, polls have shown Hillary Clinton with varying leads over Donald Trump, making the current outlook of the presidential race deeply shocking for many liberal voters.

Apparently it's also deeply shocking for Republicans — Donald Trump's own internal surveys were as off as the rest of the polls, Trump senior adviser Sarah Huckabee Sanders said:
