In a double-overtime thriller, Georgia defeated Oklahoma 54-48 in Monday's Rose Bowl, advancing to the College Football Playoff championship game.

A 27-yard touchdown by Sony Michel gave Georgia the win, and the team will play either Alabama or Clemson in the title game on Jan. 8. It was a game of firsts — this was the first overtime game in the Rose Bowl's 104 years, the highest-scoring Rose Bowl game ever, and the first College Football Playoff game to go into overtime.
