With President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ensconced in the one-on-one portion of their historic summit in Singapore, CNN is filling air time with none other than Dennis Rodman, the former NBA star who likes to visit North Korea and considers Kim his "friend for life."

Rodman is in Singapore for the summit — as he told reporters at the airport, he's "just happy to be a part of it because I think I deserve it" — and he appeared on CNN decked out in a marijuana cryptocurrency shirt, dark sunglasses, and a Trump campaign "Make America Great Again" hat. Reflecting on negative reactions to his past visits with Kim, Rodman broke down in tears:
