In upset victory, Andrew Gillum wins Florida Democratic gubernatorial primary

Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum won Tuesday's Florida Democratic gubernatorial primary, The Associated Press projects.

Gillum, endorsed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), defeated Gwen Graham, a former congresswoman, and Philip Levine, the former mayor of Miami Beach. With 93.6 percent of precincts reporting, Gillum has 34.1 percent of the vote, followed by Graham with 31.4 percent and Levine with 20.3 percent.
