Under oath, Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh said on Thursday that he did not watch Christine Blasey Ford's testimony earlier in the day, contradicting a Senate aide.
On Thursday morning, a Senate Judiciary Committee aide told The Wall Street Journal that Kavanaugh was watching Ford testify from a monitor in a separate room in the Dirksen Senate Building. When it was his turn to testify, Kavanaugh was asked by Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) if he watched Ford's testimony. "I did not," he said. "I plan to, I plan to, but I did not, I was preparing mine." Catherine Garcia
