Hollywood musical La La Land led the field at last night's Baftas at the Royal Albert Hall in London but fell short of expectations.
Casey Affleck (below) was named best actor for Manchester by the Sea, which also picked up the best original screenplay award for Kenneth Lonergan.

The award for supporting actress went to Viola Davis (below) in Fences.
Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel (below) won best supporting actor for his role in Lion, while the award for outstanding British film went to Ken Loach's I, Daniel Blake and comedy legend Mel Brooks received the 2017 Bafta Fellowship.
Last night's result have cast doubts over La La Land scooping the board at the Oscars on 26 February. It is up for a record-tying 14 nominations, but the Baftas suggest "more modest expectations should be in store and voters may be more diligent in picking and choosing where to show the love", says Deadline.
