The third of the "big four" fashion weeks takes place this week in Milan, following on from the New York and London events. Running from 23 to 29 September, Milan Fashion Week gives industry insiders and fashion fans a chance to preview the hottest fashions for Spring 2016.
This year, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci and Uma Wang are among the designers descending on Milan to show off their latest collection. The line-up is overwhelmingly Italian, reflecting Milan's pride in its status as the country's capital of fashion.
After the curtain comes down on the Milan collections, Paris Fashion Week will round off the fashion season until next year, when it will be time to preview winter 2016.
