A teenager has become a reluctant internet sensation after getting stuck in a Barney the Purple Dinosaur costume. Darby Risner, 15, from Alabama, reportedly donned the outfit to scare her friends, but became wedged in the oversized head, which slipped down to her elbows. She went to her local fire station where, after 45 minutes trapped inside the costume, she was freed.

US woman speaks in British accent after surgery
A woman born and bred in Texas has woken from surgery to discover that she speaks with a British accent. Lisa Alamia has since been diagnosed with foreign accent syndrome, an incredibly rare neurological disorder. Only about 100 cases of the syndrome have been recorded in the past 100 years, according to her neurologist, Dr Toby Yaltho.
Police hunt for bikini-clad burglar suspect
Law enforcement in California are trying to track down a burglary suspect who was captured on home surveillance cameras wearing only a bikini. She is alleged to have taken valuables from two homes north of downtown LA earlier this month, according to the Santa Clarita Sheriff's Station.
