Britons have been bombarded with warnings this week to follow Covid lockdown restrictions properly, amid fears that some people are flouting the rules.
The government kicked off what officials dubbed “enforcement week” on Monday as coronavirus case rates reached crisis levels.
The compliance drive began as new mass vaccination centres opened in a bid to speed up the NHS campaign to inoculate a total of at least 13 million people against Covid-19 by mid-February.

Need a reminder of some of the other headlines over the past seven days?
As his time in the White House draws to a close, Donald Trump made history by becoming the first US president to be impeached twice, after his supporters laid siege to the Capitol last week.
Trump was also suspended from Twitter as the row over the riots rages on. And in a further blow to the social media and golf-loving leader, the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) voted against using one of his courses for the 2022 Championship men’s major.
Europe has also been hit by political drama, with Italy’s governing coalition left on the verge of collapse after one of the smallest ruling parties, Italia Viva, withdrew its support.
Over in Germany, the Christian Democratic Union has been gearing up to elect a leader to succeed to Angela Merkel - with the result of Saturday’s vote expected to have major implications for the EU and post-Brexit Britain.
Meanwhile, a former Russian leader made headlines after the owner of a Joseph Stalin-themed kebab restaurant in Moscow was forced to shut up shop after just one day following what he described as pressure from the authorities.
