Aliens blamed as car keys stop working outside Tesco

Motorists were unable to get into their cars when their key fobs stopped working outside a branch of Tesco in Royston, Hertfordshire. Police are investigating after 100 reports of key fob failure in three days, with officers telling people not to panic and to report any issues to supermarket staff. One member of the public blamed the full moon for the lockout, but another thinks it is down to “some kind of alien phenomena”. Meanwhile, others worried that radio jamming devices were being used to block signals for remote central locking.
