Best apps for creating travel checklists
Travel List, Packing Pro, and more
Travel List is one of the least complicated apps designed to help travelers with their packing. Enter a type of trip, and the app suggests items you might put on your checklist. It can even alert you when it’s time to pack last-minute additions. ($2, iOS only)
Packing Pro complicates the task, but its extra tools may appeal to the detail-oriented or anyone packing for a group. ($3, iOS only)
TripList offers sample to-do lists that feel “particularly of the moment.” The pretravel tasks category, for instance, provides helpful reminders to “download music” and “charge batteries.” The basic app is free, and a $3 upgrade allows users to share lists across multiple devices. (iOS only)
