Every network exceeds its quota of police dramas. But cop comedies? There haven’t been many Reno 911!s or Barney Millers, but this one just might reach those heights. A cast of screwballs fills out the ranks, but it’s the interplay between Samberg and Braugher—who played a younger version of the same kind of character in Homicide: Life on the Street—that warrants close attention.
