3. Superheroes are taking over television, too

If a summer's worth of so-so blockbusters has burned you out on superhero stories, we have bad news for you: There are even more do-gooders in costumes that are primed to invade your television. In a session at the Television Critics Association press tour, The CW president Mark Pedowitz revealed that the network plans to introduce The Flash to its superhero drama Arrow, with the possibility of spinning him off into his own series.
